Therapy is an investment in your wellness, but adding expenses can be stressful. BLD accepts multiple insurances and is in process with others so therapy feels more accessible. If you are unsure of your health plan's mental health/behavioral health coverage, call the customer service number on the back of the card to ask about costs such as deductible and/or copays. Health savings accounts (HSAs) also cover deductible and copays.
Comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments are necessary to ensure approach and interventions are matched to symptoms, need, and goals for therapy. Specialized assessments for PTSD are also available.

Relationship therapy is guided by goals/hopes set by the clients. Investing 6-12 months in the process can be enough time to see progress in desired areas. Frequency determined by the client, but weekly to biweekly sessions encouraged as this work is often time limited.
When working with youth, parent/caregiver involvement is best practice. Therapy for minors is typically a mix of individual, parent sessions and family sessions depending on reason(s) for seeking therapy.
These evidence based practices are highly effective in supporting healing after traumatic experiences. They are both time limited treatments. Weekly sessions are highly encouraged if/when possible.
Trauma exposure and symptom assessment is comprehensive and helps understand the impact of experiences, as well as rule in or rule out a PTSD diagnosis.
Sessions follow model components and both are delivered in phases. This work is time limited and the number of sessions/duration of therapy can be estimated following a thorough assessment.
